Systems or Sales Engineer:

Summary of Position: The Systems Engineer provides technical support in both pre-sales and post-sales cycles, and functions as a problem solver for clients in specific technical areas.

 

We are seeking a Systems or Sales Engineer to provide technical support during both the pre-sales and post-sales cycle for external customers, as well as for internal Network Access personnel.


This position requires a highly responsive approach to supporting our clients in problem solving for specific technology practices in the areas of security, application delivery and general network infrastructure.


The Systems or Sales Engineer position will be jointly responsible for selling themselves in opportunities, and will play an important role in supporting Network Access Account Executives in revenue generating activities.

Qualifications
A track record of obtaining Cisco certifications.


Strong skills and relevant experience (at least 3 years) in core network infrastructure, security, remote access, applications delivery and voice/data convergence.


Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Strong time management and expectation setting skills.


IT, business computer science, engineering or related technical degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.


Applicants must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, revenue-generating environment, and must be detail-oriented. As a member of a team, applicants must also have excellent interpersonal as well as client-facing skills, and the ability to adapt work habits to a specified methodology and corporate culture.
